Travel: Massachusetts in the Summer

My favorite vacation spot growing up has always been Cape Cod. The best part was always going with my family, including my cousins, and getting to spend a whole week together just being kids. As we’ve grown up, some have stopped coming, but it’s still fun.

One of my favorite things to do when we’re there is go to Ben & Bill’s for ice cream. You guys, I’m not kidding when I say this is the best ice cream you will ever taste. They make all their flavors right on the property, along with homemade fudge and other candies. While the line is always long (it’s always out the door at night), it is so worth it.

We always go to Provincetown one day out of the week, which if you know the shape of Cape Cod, it’s right at the fist so it’s the town located right on the shore. It’s quite a drive from where we usually stay in Falmouth, but it’s so worth it. They have a “bridge” that’s entirely made of rocks that stretches across about a mile of water and it’s actually pretty tough to climb! The best part of the town by far though, it how it’s all about Pride. It’s basically Pride Month year round there and it’s so amazing being in an environment like that.

The town that we stay in also has a bowling alley/arcade and we always have to make a trip there at some point during the week we stay there and then walk just up the street to grab some ice cream after!

My favorite part is always spending time with family and I can’t wait for our trip this August!
