Feature: Elle Lane
One thing that not a lot of people know about me is that I am absolutely obsessed with handbags and wallets. I totally blame my mom. Growing up and even now still when I’m 20, she buys a new purse for every season and goes to great extents to make sure she finds the “perfect” one. I used to think she was absolutely crazy for putting that much effort into something that she would only use for a few months.
Then about two years ago, I guess my purse-obsessed gene kicked in and I started loving shopping for purses also. While I haven’t approached the level that my mom is at, I definitely spend a lot of time shopping in stores and online for purses.
When I got assigned to do a feature for Elle Lane, I was so excited as soon as I logged onto the site. Most of their bags are sold out right now, but they all look so gorgeous and extremely well made.
My favorite item on their site right now is the Blakeley Card Wallet. It has three card slots, two on one side and one on the other, and a slot in the middle for cash or receipts. As a college student I am absolutely obsessed with it because it has just enough slots to fit my student ID, debit card and Driver’s License and some cash. A bonus though? You can get it monogrammed for no extra charge!
The best part about the company, though, is that they donate a part of their proceeds to mental health. They also have a blog section on their site that helps teenagers and young adults cope with their stress and anxiety in today’s world.
I think it’s safe to say that I found one of my new favorite sites.
