Read: Losing Yourself in a Book

A life without books, to me, wouldn't be a life worth living. Anyone who truly knows me knows that I am a self proclaimed bibliophile. I simply cannot pick a favorite book, because a little piece of me loves every single book I have read.

Instead of telling you, dear readers, about my favorite books of all time (which, honestly, I am not too sure I know my favorites), I’ll share some of the books I've recently lost myself in.

Jennifer E. Smith has captured my heart recently. I read two of her books, This is What Happy Looks Like and Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between, on spring break in the Caribbean and I most certainly have not looked back. She transports readers back to high school within a blink of an eye. Such sweet, innocent stories of teenage romance, I can't help but continuously devour her words.

These books are such great summer reads, and my favorite of her work so far has been The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, which I accidentally read in two days. Pick up one of Jennifer's books; you won't regret it.

I'm a firm believer in finding bliss in the little things: falling leaves, best friend dates, and making the perfect cup of coffee. There's little in this world, I believe, that can't be fixed by a Taylor Swift song. Typically, you can find me with my nose in a good book or in the kitchen, baking some recipe that I found on Pinterest. I'm a textbook case of an INFJ personality, dreaming of professionally helping others find happiness and providing unconditional support.
