Fashion: Spring Must-Haves

Fashion: Spring Must-Haves

It’s officially spring time in New York, and you know what that means: spring fashion! Fall and spring are my two favorite seasons for fashion because it’s the time of year when scarves are the most appropriate.

Sure, winter calls for scarves too, but I prefer the ones that are silk and have gorgeous patterns on them, not the chunky ones that you have to wear to keep warm in the winter. My collection of basic white tees is getting a bit out of control, so I love to have a collection of scarves just to dress them up a little bit and look a bit more pulled together.

My favorite stores to get scarves from are H&M, Old Navy, and Target. Each year, they come out with such a beautiful selection and it takes all of my willpower not to buy all of them. I’m actually proud to say that I haven’t bought any so far this year, but that is probably going to change soon because I just can’t resist!

All scarf collections need one important thing though: a great white basic t-shirt. I have searched high and low for one, trying out ones from Target to Old Navy and pretty much everywhere else. I am happy to announce that I have finally found the perfect one with a little help from my favorite blogger, Carly A. Heitlinger of The College Prepster.

That place is none other than J. Crew Factory. They have many different styles of basic t-shirts, but their Studio T-Shirt is the best. Most white t-shirts are too transparent and you have to worry about either layering a camisole under it or have everyone see your bra. I’m not exactly about either of those so the Studio T-Shirt is perfect because it’s so opaque. It, of course, comes in white, but also a bunch of other colors for a casual look. Oh, and as I’m writing this, they are on sale for $9.95! I’m not sure how much longer they will be on sale, so scoop them up while you can!

Happy shopping!

Hi everyone! My name is Julianne and I am currently a junior in college studying Journalism. Every since I was little writing has been my passion. I never knew what I wanted to write about until six years ago when I fell in love with baseball. That moment changed my life forever and gave me a place to escape to when the world just got too hard. I'm also an obsessive coffee drinker and reader and completely obsessed with Taylor Swift. I can't wait to share more about me as I go on this incredible journey of being a member of Dream On Youth!
