Review: Zootopia

Zootopia is a city where various animals live and thrive. The stereotypes are prominent when Judy Hopps becomes the first rabbit to join the police force. It is tough for her to enforce the law. As she pushes away the stereotype of herself, she does the same for a fox she sees needing help. Things don't turn out as they seem. She decides to solve a mysterious case to prove herself. It includes working with the fox she helped, Nick Wilde.

During their search, an unlikely friendship forms. As they get further into the case, there are plot twists that will make you cry or laugh. Some parts are unpredictable while other parts are predictable. It's still cool to see it all unfold.

While watching Zootopia I saw myself and our world reflected in it. Her ignorance puts Nick and others into the stereotype of being predators. You may try to break stereotypes, but sometimes you still assume the stereotypes of others. Even having a friendship doesn't do away with ignorance. Once you notice your mistakes, do fix them and keep an open mind.
